Originally launched in 2018, the AXiS E3 Trigger has been fully redesigned, enhanced, and over-built - giving drummers exactly what they want in a pedal mounted trigger. The new AXiS E3 drum trigger is an evolution in simplicity, functionality and redundancy - set it, lock it, play with confidence.

The two major frustrations drummers have with pedal mounted triggers are (i) ability to quickly and easily dial in your settings and (ii) having the trigger move out of position - especially while you are live on stage, in the studio or during fast and aggressive playing. The AXiS E3 Trigger was redesigned to address both of these issues.

The first-of-its kind on any pedal mounted trigger, the AXiS Micro-Adjustment Jack Screw is a dual-function, adjustable “leg” that sits between the trigger and the trigger’s base plate and provides quick, tool-free positioning while also acting as a secondary locking mechanism. This is such an important innovation that we decided to give it a proper name - the Redundant Setup System (RSS).

Our Doc-o-Matic is available in black, with the classic AXiS logo in black, and compatible with all generations of AXiS Pedals including Longboard, Wideboard, and Shortboard pedals. No modification or alteration to your pedals!

Adjustability - Once your trigger is positioned and secured onto your pedal, the RSS allows you a tool-free way to quickly and easily fine-tune the trigger's setting. If you move your pedal setting or find the trigger is not hitting when you want, a small turn of the RSS is all you need to bring the trigger back to exactly where you want it.

Security - once your trigger is set, the dual locking system ensures absolute stability. The side mounted drum key screw will lock the trigger in place while the RSS Jack-Screw acts as a secondary mechanism helping ensure the trigger will not move, even under the most aggressive playing styles.

The E3 mounts to your pedal’s base plate and is activated by the underside of the footboard. This direct contact design captures the dynamics of your playing while helping reduce any cross-talk and unwanted double-triggering associated with other triggers or trigger systems. From controlled single strokes to fast double bass patterns and aggressive double-stroke blast beats, the E3 Trigger will match to your footwork at every stroke. E3 comes standard with a 6.3 mm or 1/4" Monto Jack TS Connector, which is compatible with all drum modules.

Built from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum, the E3 triggers are designed to withstand the rigors of any tour schedule as well as the demanding perfection of studio work. As with all AXiS triggers, the E3 is anodized in AXiS red and etched with the classic AXiS logo and E3 Markings. Electronics are completely enclosed within the trigger housing, no exposed wires or electronics. We source only the highest quality components and each E3 trigger is hand soldered and assembled by our team in California. Additionally, our triggers are tested multiple times during assembly, and again just prior to shipping.
