The AXiS Longboard is the ultimate direct drive drum pedal: smooth, responsive, balanced and versatile - from slow rock ballads to blistering blast beats, the AXiS Longboard Pedal has been the go-to pedal for professional and amateur drummers since its release in 1990. The extra-long footboard and innovative engineering make the AXiS Longboards truly unique. The AXiS A21-CAM is a unique CAM design that offers enhanced power and velocity. Shifting the beater throw angle 21 degrees forward allows you to generate more force behind the beater stroke. Originally designed for drummers who wanted to play fast without sacrificing power, the A21-CAM has been adopted by drummers of all genres given its unique properties of speed, power and control. This CAM design also incorporates our patented Variable Drive Lever (VDL), allowing you to adjust the footboard angle independently of the beater angle. This simple adjustment alters the footboard travel required to activate the beater, offering a range of feels from fast and responsive to slow and controlled. Minor adjustments in the VDL yield noticeable differences in how the pedal plays, giving you precise control to dial in the pedal for your individual playing style. Made from aerospace-grade aluminum and precision-machined to exacting standards, AXiS products are designed and built to withstand the grueling demands of the road. Stainless steel bearings at every pivot point ensure smooth, frictionless play while our unique direct drive assembly provides unparalleled power and responsiveness.
Standard Spring Assembly - The original AXiS Spring Assembly - simple and reliable. The medium duty spring provided a good balance between power and response and is suited for most playing styles. Custom thumb nuts allow for easy adjustment and a wide range of tension positions. LINK
MicroTune® Spring Tensioner - Our patented spring mechanism allows for easier adjustment and greater precision when fine-tuning spring tension. The heavy duty spring provides a wider tension range compared to our Standard Spring Assembly and is the spring of choice for drummers looking for a heavy spring tension. LINK
