The AXiS Flathead Beater-Red Addition is designed to be a lightweight yet top-heavy beater suitable for multiple playing styles. This Versatile beater allows you to dial in for speed, power, and tone without sacrificing volume. The titanium beater shaft reduces overall weight while the aluminum beater head (anodized in AXiS Red) provides a top-heavy, yet balanced feel and extra weight for a more powerful swing.
Like our classic Flathead Beater, the beater head is self-aligning, which means it lands flat every time - maximizing impact and reducing wear on the drumhead.
Each beater has three (3) paying surfaces to choose from - Felt, Cork, or Aluminum - each providing a unique tone and responsiveness. In addition, every Flathead comes with our 1.5 oz fully adjustable AXiS Beater Weight allowing you to find the exact power and balance you are looking for.
Finished in AXiS Red with the AXiS Logo etched into the beater itself, the Flathead - Red Addition is compatible with all AXiS pedal models and generations. It also fits virtually any drum pedal, making it a universal addition to your setup.
