SOEN, FORMERLY OPETH / AMON AMARTH
Martin started playing African and Latin percussion at the age of 7 and experienced his first shows and tours as a percussionist.
By the age of 12 he started playing drums mainly focusing on Rock and Metal. In 1997 he joined the Swedish band Amon Amarth and recorded on their debut album Once Sent From the Golden Hall but after a few tours he left Amon Amarth to join Opeth. He played 10 years with Opeth recording 7 albums and touring extensively throughout the world. In 2006 Martin left Opeth and started Soen.
Currently Martin is the drummer and main songwriter of Soen with whom he has toured extensively and released 5 albums so far.
